Samba School

Samba music is very often associated with football, and we were asked to take part in performing and giving workshops at an amateur football tournament, the 'Umbro International Cup' in Manchester. We provided the rhythms from the touchline to support the players and also gave workshops to participants in between their matches. Some football teams played samba with us in the workshops, then we went to their match and played for them from the sidelines. The football and music of Brazil is something which go hand in hand and great players of both music and football have a great sense of rhythm. All the pictures from this page were taken at the 'Umbro International Cup' organised by Euro Worldwide Events. The Umbro Cup website is at .www.worldwidesoccer.co.uk
